Appreciated hospitable and knowledgeable staff and big size hotel.

Overall a very very good stay for one night. Large breakfast, stylish grand double room. Bonus point for effective Wi-Fi, coffee, and a writing table. Perfect location just off the vineyards, the city center and the waterfront, 15 min walk to train station. Nearby The Eight Bells - great place to chill out.

I stayed at a great hotel just minutes from the port, with plenty of shops and a nice pub nearby. The room was cute and had a private shower. The breakfast was fantastic, with fresh croissants and bread. The staff were friendly and helpful, suggesting restaurants and giving info on attractions. The area was family-friendly and safe, even at night. Lots of restaurants, pubs, and shops to explore. The breakfast terrace was a lovely spot to relax.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Good breakfasts; quiet; clean; convenient to many features.
Bathroom too small, especially shower. Steep stairs and difficult to manage for anyone with a walking difficulty, or cases. No lift.

The town of Dover was interesting - our stay was short though
Just the steep stairs and the security lights were a bit slow to come on (sensors) around the stairwell which made it a bit risky at night.

It was clean, breakfast was sensational. The staff was accommodating, exceptional with every request. The selection of delicious bread, eggs and bangers was a bonus. I've had a fairly nice stay for the one night.
